If you drive around our adjoining Central Park/Jacaranda communities, you’ll see their entryways lit up for the holidays. But alas … our community has no twinkle this festive time of year. Michelle the President says she has an arrangement with “someone” to hang lights but our Association has no written contract with any vendor for this type of service. How does this “someone” get paid and where do those funds come from?
Our front entrance has been ignored for many, many, many months now. Jim the property manager oversaw a $10,000.00 installation of plants in June which died out in two months. Was the Association reimbursed for that expenditure? Why hasn’t anything been done to beautify our front entrance since? happened to the new hardscape/landscape discussed at the October meeting and the proposal put forth by Royal Gardens which everyone seemed to like?
Anyone remember Jim the Property Manager saying at the May meeting he reduced our landscaping expenses by $300.00 a month? I do. Unfortunately, this information never made it into the meeting minutes, so is our Association benefiting from this reduced fee or not?
And speaking of meeting minutes … it’s been two months and they haven’t been loaded on our Association web site for homeowner review. Nor has the 2019 budget been posted/mailed and/or e-mailed.
Don’t you want to know what’s happening in your community with your hard-earned money?
Better maintenance, less cost, more communication.
We deserve more.
Wishing everyone and their families a healthy and safe New Year.
