What are the purpose of meeting minutes? They are a recorded document to inform attendees – and non-attendees – about what transpired at a duly-noticed meeting and should be disseminated shortly after said meeting takes place. So what happened at the last homeowner meeting on 26FEB18? Nobody knows because nobody can review the meeting minutes, yet it looks contractors have been hired to work in the community. Apparently the Board – with the approval of the Property Management company – must be voting on Association business items outside of a duly-noticed meeting – which violates Florida statute. Members have a right to know how their money is being spent and the lack of transparency in the community is a major concern for many of us.
